Friends of Chamber Music is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to presenting the highest quality chamber ensembles in concert, and providing educational outreach to further chamber music in our community. Thanks to the continuing support of our benefactors we have been able to offer world-class chamber music to Portland audiences since 1939. Our Federal tax ID number is 23-7124366.

The impact of our programming reaches far beyond the concert hall. With the help of our generous donors and sponsors, each season we partner with local schools to offer our visiting ensembles in workshops at no charge to the schools. Activities range from lecture/demonstrations to informal coaching to formal master classes.
