Past Event - November 2

Successfully dodging even the most valiant attempts at genre classification, this multi-instrumental quartet (violin, banjo, viola, mandolin, cello, vocals) encompasses musical traditions from across America, while composer-performer Clarice Assad’s unique vocal stylings and use of piano and electronics are in a class of its own.

“...not anything but everything: classical, folk, bluegrass, Americana and a sound yet to be termed seamlessly merged into a perfect one.” SiriusXM

Program: Sunday, November 2

Fueled by their passion for storytelling, Invoke weaves bluegrass, Appalachian fiddle tunes, jazz, and minimalism together to form a unique contemporary repertoire. This electrifying collaboration creates an unexpected pairing of great music from across the centuries as the performers put their own spin on retro-pop and classical music with unique arrangements that make for a cool, exciting, and inspiring concert.
