Pietro Belluschi was an Italian-born American architect, a leader of the Modern Movement in architecture, and was responsible for the design of over 1,000 buildings. It was the modernist design of the Portland Art Museum in 1932 that launched the career of this internationally acclaimed architect, and his contributions to Pacific Northwest Regional Modernism. Splendid Audacity is a male a cappella group that is known for its professionalism and commitment to excellence as well as its large and widely varied repertoire. The group has experience with virtually every genre of music from Renaissance polyphony to Indian ragas, from Jazz to contemporary/popular song. In addition to their regular concerts at Pacific University, Splendid Audacity has also performed and is available for hire at award ceremonies, weddings, private concerts, seasonal parties, funerals, benefits, and other events.
